Create a user group in SAP

- Log in to the SAP system using an account with administrative privileges.
- Access the user group maintenance transaction by entering "SUGR" in the command field and pressing Enter.
- In the User Group Maintenance screen, click on the "Create" button or go to the menu and select User Group → Create.
- Enter a unique name for the user group in the User Group field and provide a short description in the Description field.
- Optionally, you can enter additional information such as the package name, responsible person, and other details in the General Data tab.
- Click on the "Save" button to create the user group. The system will generate a user group ID and display it on the screen.
- In the Members tab, you can add users to the user group by selecting the desired users from the available options.
- Click on the "Add user" button, enter the user IDs, and click on the green checkmark icon to add them to the user group.
- You can add multiple users by repeating the above step.
- Once you have added the users to the user group, click on the "Save" button to save your changes.
- After saving, you can assign the user group to roles or other objects as per your requirements. This can be done in the Roles tab or other relevant tabs depending on the object you want to assign the user group to.
- Once the user group is created and assigned to the desired objects, you can use it for managing authorizations, defining workflows, or any other relevant purposes.
